  Track Record - Resourcing Women

Resourcing Women involved us* in the selection of suitable online debate software/interfaces and the drawing together of a community of interest able to collaborate and discuss on and offline, to generate new thinking. The work was commissioned by CDF for the Active Community Unit (ACU), Home Office.  * with Margaret Page

The subject was the resourcing needs of women's voluntary and community organisations, face to face and online in a time limited e-forum/think tank.  The project  was designed to build confidence, conversation and community and to fit the budget and time available.

The purpose was to test online methods of debate and consultation and contribute strategic responses within the national Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy development process.  Resourcing Women developed policy proposals relating to  women's organisations -  agencies critical to the health of communities  - and the recommendations included issues for black and minority ethnic women.
